A Plastic Mouse Glue Trap Board for mice, small rats and crawling insects, built on a rigid PP base rather than a cardboard sheet. The tray resists moisture and does not warp in damp kitchens, basements or utility rooms. Standard size is 25 × 12 cm, with black or white tray options. Made by Dalian Golden-Cat Rodenticide Co., Ltd. and supplied to PCOs, facility suppliers, food-service distributors and retail buyers. Sample boards, an adhesive composition statement and a quotation are available before an order is confirmed.

Plastic Tray and Cardboard Board

The base is the part that fails first in a damp or rough position. A cardboard glue board absorbs moisture, softens at the edges and can warp when placed on a wet floor or in a humid room. The PP tray holds its shape, does not absorb water and can be wiped at the outside without collapsing.

The trade-off is cost and disposal. A plastic tray costs more per unit than a card board and takes up more space in a waste stream. For dry, short-term indoor placements, a card board is often sufficient. For kitchens, basements, utility rooms, loading areas and sites where the board may be exposed to moisture, the plastic tray is the more reliable format.

The adhesive itself behaves the same on both bases. Dust, water on the glue surface and low temperature reduce tack regardless of whether the base is plastic or card. A plastic tray is not a waterproof trap; it is a moisture-resistant base.

What the Board Catches

The 25 × 12 cm Plastic Mouse Glue Trap Board is sized for mice and small rats. It also catches cockroaches, spiders and other crawling insects that cross the adhesive surface.

For heavy rat infestations, the board is usually the wrong primary tool. A large rat can sometimes pull free from a board of this size, and a snap trap or a baiting program is more appropriate. The board is best used as part of a mixed program: glue boards along travel routes and in sensitive areas, snap traps or bait stations where rats are the main target.

The board is not a monitoring device in the sense that a pheromone trap is. It captures animals that cross it, and the catch is checked visually. It does not provide a species-specific count or a trend line.

Placement Along Walls and Behind Appliances

Mice move along edges rather than across open floor. The board works when it is placed on a travel route, not in the middle of a room.

· Place the long edge against a wall, a cabinet base or a pipe run.

· Put boards in corners, behind appliances, under shelving and near entry points.

· Keep the glue side up and the release paper removed before positioning.

· Do not place the board in a position where dust, flour or water will settle on the adhesive.

· In food-handling areas, place the board inside a covered bait station or in a hidden position, not on an open food-contact surface.

Check the board daily in an active infestation and at least weekly in a maintenance program. Replace it when the surface is covered, contaminated with dust or water, or when the adhesive no longer feels tacky through a gloved finger.

Non-Target and Regulatory Limits

The board contains no pesticide active ingredient. Capture is mechanical. That does not remove every risk.

· Keep boards away from children, pets and non-target animals. A stuck animal is a handling problem even though the adhesive is not toxic.

· In a home with cats or dogs, place boards behind furniture or inside a covered station where a paw cannot reach.

· Check local rules before selling or using glue boards. Some countries and states restrict or ban glue board use on animal welfare grounds, and the rules can change. The buyer is responsible for confirming that the product is permitted in the destination market.

· A live captured animal requires a handling decision. Follow local animal welfare requirements and the site’s pest management policy. Do not leave a live animal on the board for an extended period.

Capture and Disposal

A used board should be handled with gloves and placed in a sealed bag before disposal. Do not touch the adhesive or the captured animal with bare hands.

· Fold the tray or place it in a sealed waste bag.

· Dispose of it as general waste according to local rules.

· Do not place used boards in a recycling stream.

· Wash hands after handling, even when gloves were worn.

In a food facility, remove the board from the production area before bagging it. A board that is bagged beside an open product line is still a contamination risk during the removal step.

Carton Configuration

The standard retail box holds 2 boards. The export carton holds 30 boxes, 60 boards, at approximately 0.045 CBM. This configuration suits mixed pallet loads and distributor warehouse picking.

Alternative pack counts, box print, tray color and private label artwork are available for OEM orders. Carton configuration can be adjusted for e-commerce and marketplace inbound requirements. Confirmed pack counts should be written into the purchase order, because older catalogue versions list different box and carton quantities.

Purchasing Questions

Is the brand GOLDEN-CAT or MouseKing?
The Plastic Mouse Glue Trap Board is supplied under the GOLDEN-CAT brand. MouseKing is a separate label used in some markets. Confirm the brand on the box artwork before printing, because the two names cannot appear on the same pack without a clear label agreement.

Can a 25 × 12 cm board catch a large rat?
It can catch small rats, but a large rat may pull free. For heavy rat pressure, use a larger board, a snap trap or a baiting program. The 25 × 12 cm board is primarily a mouse board and a crawling-insect intercept.

Is the board safe to use in a food processing area?
The board contains no pesticide active ingredient, but it should not be placed on an open food-contact surface or in a position where it can fall into product. In food areas, place it inside a covered station or in a hidden position, and remove it from the production area before disposal.

Does the plastic tray make the trap waterproof?
No. The PP base resists moisture and does not warp like card, but the adhesive surface still loses tack when water, dust or flour settles on it. The tray is moisture-resistant, not waterproof.

Is RoHS applicable to this product?
No. RoHS applies to electrical and electronic equipment. This product is a plastic tray, adhesive and release paper. An adhesive composition statement, MSDS and REACH/SVHC statement on request are the relevant documents.

Are glue boards restricted in any markets?
Some countries and states restrict or ban glue board use on animal welfare grounds, and the rules can change. Check the destination market before ordering. The buyer is responsible for confirming that the product is permitted for sale and use in that market.

Can the board be used in a cold store?
The standard adhesive is formulated for ambient indoor temperatures. In a cold room or a freezer, tack drops and the board may not capture reliably. A low-temperature adhesive grade should be specified before use in cold storage.
